As part of Catholic Schools Week 2018, we did an activity about Our School Family. Miss Guiney talked us through various scenarios and asked us what would we do? Here we are acting out these scenes.

Credit Union Quiz

Credit Union Quiz 1
A big well done to the team who took part in the Credit Union Quiz in St. Malachy's Primary School, Castlewellan on Monday 29th January. Our team, which consisted of James Glavin, Annie Clenaghan, Teagan Cleland and Aidan Mallet, came second, missing out on First Place by half a point! A big well done to St. Patrick's Primary School, Hilltown, who were victorious and go on to the next stage.

Today, we looked at how refugees are treated and tried to put ourselves in their shoes to see how we would feel if we had to flee our own country to go to another one. We looked at the story of Paddington Bear, as he was also a refugee and completed a quiz about rights and an activity about what 4 items I would pack if I had to leave my family and country tomorrow!
