P4 are very lucky to have 2 teachers!!

Mrs Keaveney teaches on Monday and Tuesday and Mrs McElroy teaches on Wednesday and Thursday and we alternate Fridays.

P4 is a very exciting and busy year. Of course the most exciting thing is making our First Holy Communion. We do lots of preparation for this and get lots of opportunities to visit the church before this special day.

We get to go swimming in P4, visit the local library, go on lots of trips and learn Spanish.

We hope you got a chance to see us show off our Spanish singing and dancing at our Christmas Assembly which we really enjoyed!

Congratulations P4 on making your First Holy Communion

Every child had something special to do at the mass and they all did an excellent job!

The girls looked gorgeous and the boys were very handsome in their smart suits.

An Interesting Visit

 

Along with Sr Teresa, Joe Boden and his wife Marie visited our school today to talk to us about what life was like growing up during World War 2

 

They were very impressed with the projects our pupils had completed last year as part of their war topic.

 

Joe brought in a large collection of artefacts from war time and some of our children were able to bring in gas masks, medals, photographs and soldiers helmets to add to the display.
