Thank you for visiting our page. We are having lots of fun in P4/5
In Numeracy we enjoy learning how to multiply and divide, tell the time, use money and read different types of graphs and tables.
Reading, writing, talking and listening activities are lots of fun too. We cover a number of writing units including instructions, story writing and poetry to name a few!
This year our World Around Us topics include; Autumn, Our School, Houses and Homes, Egyptians and Food.
We use I.C.T across the curriculum and throughout the year we have lots of opportunities to use Ipads and programmable robots to enhance our learning
Please keep checking our page regularly for updates and always remember to be safe online.

P4/5 had a very fun maths day on 8th June. Pupils throughout the school took part in a fun maths trail where they had to measure various objects around the school and even take down teachers car registrations to find out which one had the largest number!
Thank you to all the parents for helping us solve our tricky maths problems.
We have been carrying out lots of investigations. Our latest one was YUMMY!
We positioned five equal bars of choclate in five different locations, an oven, the fridge, our classroom, outside in the sun and outside in the shade. We wanted to find out what would happen to each bar. It was hard to resist nibbling a little bit.
We took the temprature at each place and made a prediction on what would happen to the chocolate. We were surprised that the chocolate outside didn't melt but it wasn't a very warm day. I wonder what would have happened if we left it out longer?
The best part was eating all the chocolate at the end!!! Yum Yum
We have been celebrating World Book Day. Look at our fantastic costumes.
We have been writing advertisements for houses. We think St Mary's Estate Agents looks great!
Look who came to visit us!
